Bianca quoted in Racked from the Levi’s x Lookbook.nu party at the Wythe Hotel last week, celebrating the classic denim line’s 140th Anniversary.

We love that in honor of the company hitting the milestone, Racked asked party-goers what they would wear if they were to live to their 140th birthday!

Gary Vaynerchuk is someone who we’ve absolutely adored and respected in the business world- from his inspiring motto of ‘crushing it’, his views on appreciating the consumer with the Thank You Economy, and the amazing work he’s doing at Vaynermedia (where many awesome people we know are employed!)

You can imagine our excitement when we got the twitter notification that Gary named us one of 5 companies you should be paying attention to, while we were at the Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards last Friday- as we may or may not have drifted from the conversation we were in to run off and tweet about it.

We’re so honored to be included on this list! Check out the rest of the post to read more about the other 4 companies here.

On another note, it was quite appropriate that this post was on LinkedIn because we’re hiring! Yeah!!

“Something that we wouldn’t actually use ourselves is impossible for us to do,” said Ms. Blair. “If we’re going to promote a brand, it has to be something we feel passionate about.”
Excited to be in the Observer today & happy to be a company that works with brands we truly believe in.
The piece examines how the clients we work with fit into the Small Girls story, but also how we’re self-aware of the narrative & sometimes extend it to client projects, effectively making PR more personable or relatable (as opposed to being waved “via an invisible hand”).
Thanks to social media, we’re all living increasingly public lives, publicist or no publicist, and in that vein, we publicly adore the brands we choose to work alongside.
“Products of this millieu, the Small Girls have made the conscious decision not to hide their tools, but instead to festoon them with bows and paint them in pastel.”
Though they may have gotten the Lilipantian part wrong (we are pretty in love with their vision), the rest is neat.

During our Internet Week galavanting, we stopped by Tumblr’s Storyboard launch at Tribeca Grand Hotel on Tuesday. Duh. We <3 Tumblr & Tribeca Grand!
The Wall Street Journal covered the event, mentioning Bianca as an attendee and dubbing her a “Tumblrer-about-town”. Sounds about right. She’ll probably add that to her bio.

“I especially enjoyed spending time with Tortoise & Blonde Eyewear, started by a father-son team and favored by the indie music set and getting to meet Bianca Caampued of Small Girls PR, who was on hand to help facilitate media inquiries, interviews and client support. “
