What We Did Over Summer (Non)-Vacation: Small Girls Take Pitchfork Festival

Pitchfork gave us VIP passes to their Music Festival in Chicago this past July.  We know it’s overdue, but here’s a video recap of some of the fun we had while out there (thanks, Justin!!)

While we were busy running around catching bands/dancing/networking/making new BFF’s, we managed to catch a few moments on our flip.  Cameos by Cut Copy, Das Racist, Jamin of Kill Screen, Pitchfork Reviews Reviews, Ahmad of Dirty Dancer, + dancing to Twin Sister (we didn’t actually get footage of the band because there were amps in our way.)

Music: Twin Sister- All Around and Away We Go

We had such an awesome time in Chicago for Pitchfork Festival!  We wanna thank Justin Fluck (our most favorite person in the world ever) and Pitchfork for having us.
Bianca even made it on Chicago Mag’s homepage! Yay!

Guess who’s on the main page of ChicagoMag.com today…
A beer cart ran over a bottle of water, which then exploded and spewed H20 all over the side of my dress.  The photographer from Chicago Mag thought I did it on purpose and asked to take my picture for their festival style pics.  As previously mentioned, I was also wearing half a princess leia bun and half a pocahontas braid (mainly because I got lazy about putting the other side up and Mallory told me it was hawt).
… the dousing myself with water purposely and rocking the double leia buns came on the last day due to the sweltering heat

The Club Monaco post with the photo of the two asian toddler girls eating popsicles reminded us of this pic.  Because we’re asian, and we’re toddlers…
Our super awesome buddy Justin surprised us at our office with ice cream the day after our NY Post piece came out!
Speaking of Justin, we’ll be hanging with him at Pitchfork Music Festival this weekend!  Yay!! Leaving for Chicago tomorrow! Don’t miss us too hard… or if you’ll be there let us know!  We wanna hang!
