Congrats to our desk neighbors Amanda Peyton and Jason Gavris (co-founders of Message Party) for launching their newest venture today, TodaysKicks.com
As their collaborator (and idea generator of the project) Phineas Barnes explains on his blog, “anyone who has sent a tweet with the #todayskicks hashtag has a page on the site with their images. When you add a photo from the app, you can also add tags that will be associated with the image/style and we hope to have pages by style at some point in the future.”
But there’s more than meets the eye (or foot): “pictures of sneakers are just the beginning. There is something really cool about identifying communities of passion, giving them a way to organize and accelerate communication and engagement with products they love and ultimately offer the ability to buy the “best of” based on community curation.”
We can’t wait to see where the pictures of sneakers lead to. Get it?

GPOYW- Oh Hey NY Post… didn’t see you there.
Of course you can take photos of Bianca casually sitting at her computer, with Mallory perched on the desk, giggling fondly about awesome work times.
The Makery’s spread in Details has finally hit the book shelves! Awesome looking photo, some noteworthy quotes from Langer and a sexy cover (grrr…) guarantee that we are all going to probably be like uber famous tomorrow morning. I am getting my “I’m too cool for you” pose ready for the paparazzi.
Hangin’ in the Makery offices with a whole lotta estrogen: Bnter, Small Girls PR, Jauntsetter, Super+Fun, Julia West (working on something stealth, ooh), Bells + Whistles & MessageParty. And Matt Langer, Makery Macher, from whom this photo is taken. Thanks Matt! Bnter you soon!
<3 Can you spot Mallory’s hello kitty gumball machine? We’re extremely happy to be in such good company at our office space.
Phil from @vaynermedia came by to visit us last week. We <3 Phil. He’s one of Small Girls bff’s for ever. (That’s right, two for evers… which means extra <3’s)
Watch Erin transform this versatile bag (that has been getting a lot of attention from editors and fashion bloggers) through her busy day— from home, to office, to show!
They run Small Girls PR, a digitally-focused creative agency specializing in social interaction both on-line and off. Client services include social media management, guerilla marketing and event production.
This is their collective blog. A fun scrapbook of things they like, their day to day activities, client projects, event announcements, and more!
