Late GPOYW: Small Girls at charity : water HQ for their 5th Birthday! Yay!
We want to thank charity : water for having us as volunteers for their 5th Anniversary September Campaign. We hope their supporters all enjoyed the thank you videos that were sent to them and shared them with their friends!
GPOYW- In Honor of Cure’s 3rd Birthday Party
Hey… Mallory went there… figured I should too.
Cure turning 3 is actually very exciting for me. Not only because Small Girls is helping them throw their Birthday Thrift Spectacular, but because I was Cure’s in-house PR/Media director, before Mal and I started Small Girls.
I saw the store grow, evolve and change- and while Liz, Ali, and the awesome Cure staff worked their magic on the furniture displays, clothing floor, etc., making the store the best thrift destination in NYC, I brought in photographers and bloggers to collaborate, made a lookbook, turned their tumblr to a thrift store heaven content machine, had parties, made videos, and more!
Though we’re doing our own thing, it’s still so great to watch Cure’s success! Small Girls has definitely turned to Cure during some last minute jams, which they’ve helped us get out of! Fabric for a photobooth backdrop? Vintage jars for an event raffle? Decorations for a holiday party? Yep. Cure was there for us.
Anyway- I’m really excited about this party and continuing to work with Cure on awesome things. Hope everyone comes out tomorrow to help us celebrate. Yeah!

This Obliterati was one of the first times that we ever hung out… Pre-Small Girls!!
