Wit is absolutely key to what we do. Wit provides depth and soul. It gives evidence of humanity.

Every time I see a logo, a piece of packaging, or any piece of brand design with wit, it makes me think ‘I like these people.’ It looks like the brand’s smiling at you.  It’s welcoming you in.

[It’s important because] I think it has something to do with the sociability of our species.  We love wit, and we love the interaction it inspires in people.

We too love wit… and smiling.  We love smiling and making people smile. :)

My coworker just have me all these chill temporary tattoos and I’m really feeling the Dunkin’ one for my neck OR shoulder OR lower back OR ankle OR inner thigh.

We like to be walking billboards for our clients (have you heard about how we wore a prom dress every day for 30 days for our prom client?) - forehead tattoos may be the next step.  … … …

If we could get weird with brand consulting questions…

what superhero best embodies your brand?

if your brand were a drink, what would it be made up of?

if your brand went on a date, what would it do?

what does your brand want to do when it grows up (gets acquired)?

is your brand a mac or a pc?

did your brand vote for bush or gore?

if your brand was a genre of music, which genre would it be? sub-genre?

[your brand]: great date, or greatest date?

just kidding, our consulting forms look nothing like this- but come to think of it, we wouldn’t mind throwing one of these on there.

New York Magazine asked Mallory to assess the effectiveness of an array of #OccupyWallStreet signs snapped at the rally this week.  She assigns each a letter grade along with notes on branding and packaging of the protest message.  Click through to view the slideshow and read on.
