The New Revolutionists’ Meet & Eat, with founder Laura Burhenn of the Mynabirds

Small Girls will be lunching with some kickass women today.  The New Revolutionists project highlights empowering women through this portrait project “pay[ing] tribute to the fact that women who stand up to injustice are rarely pristine; they get their hands dirty”.  

We’re honored to get a firsthand look into the project with Laura today and be surrounded by some pretty amazing women in the process. While we actively support women in tech and media in our day to day business, the invite to today’s lunch forced us to step back and think about what we’re doing to empower smart women as a whole, from artists to doctors to mothers and beyond. We wouldn’t be where we are without the strong mothers that raised us, the female advisors that pushed us early on and the women-led companies that hire us for client work.  Excited to make our Small Girls circle a little bigger today.
