People ask to see our co-working space all the time. If you haven’t visited us, or been to a Makery party for yourself, feel free to poke around our office’s site. There’s pictures of our desks at the bottom :)
We like start-ups. We like girl duos. We like to cook—back in college, Claire and I made each other Omaha Steaks and this delicious thing that my boyfriend still refers to as Claire’s Chicken.
So it pretty much goes without saying that we love Big Girls, Small Kitchen, a blog that urges twentysomethings to stop ordering in soggy wraps, greasy pad thai, and subpar lamb korma and, um, make something. Phoebe Lapine and Cara Eisenpress’s recipes—like one for oversize mozzarella arepas and another for a pizza with artichokes, leeks, and shallots—have gained quite the following, and that means they now they have a book, In the Small Kitchen…with a forward by Ina Garten. (SNAP.) You should check it out and motivate yourself to get down with some spring produce. —erica
Small Girls client Big Girls Small Kitchen are Of a Kind’s Emerging Thing of the Week! (say that 10 times fast)
We also love start-ups, girl duos, and food. ;)

Ha. Yes, WWD. Thanks for saying that.
And just when we thought we wouldn’t be getting any more press on our 30 Days of Prom Dresses….
hey, bloggers? you may have forgotten about that little organization called the federal trade commission since the hubbub died down regarding disclosing when you snag freebies, but they still exist and you should always be honest to your readers.
Great article by Racked on the blogger FTC guidelines.
