Because we don’t have a real-live office, we’re always looking for low-key, convenient places to have meetings—bonus points for coziness. Last week, we camped out at Cafe Select for an afternoon to chat with the ladies of Brook & Lyn and Small Girls and decided that it is the ideal spot (until we find a place with, like, legit desks). The Euro vibe means that no one tries to hurry you through your latte, and you never feel too over- or underdressed. Also, if you stay ‘til dark, there are almost always drink specials. —erica
1) An Ally Capellino tote, for carrying all of the components of a roving office.
2) The sort of schmacy Riviera Club sweatshirt you wear with chukkas, not sneakers.
3) A prissy Dear Creatures top, tucked into an extra-wide-leg pant.
4) Pamela Love’s simple, antiqued copper cuff.
6) Bright white Marais USA oxfords—if you can keep them clean, you really have your shit together.
We were into it. Alsooo thanks to the link we just discovered we’re really into Brook & Lyn! Yeah! Mallory would totally rock the Surrounded Day stuff and Bianca would be all over Surrounded Night.
